Packaging can carry more than its function. There is a colour we recognise, an image that returns to memory, a familiarity requiring no explanation. When this repertoire enters a dial, its scale and context change.

Coqueiro proposes this displacement. Fish and waves cease to accompany a consumer product and begin to organise a wearable composition. The reading does not depend on erasing the origin: it emerges precisely from the encounter between an everyday reference and the watch case.

In La Colombe Vivante, transformation appears in another way. A repurposed bank card becomes the support for the dove. This is not simply a matter of exchanging one image for another, but of reconsidering what a surface may receive.

Reuse alone is not enough to create a work. Scale, placement, contrast and execution give the gesture its direction. The Atelier's research lies in this passage — from material at hand to a coherent artistic language.
