CURATORIAL NOTE
Fish, waves and the graphic memory of packaging enter the territory of the watch.
Coqueiro begins with an encounter between references that rarely meet: an illustration from a sardine tin and the presence of a watch on the wrist. The everyday image ceases to be a background and begins to organise the dial.
Blue fish and lines of water cross the beige field. The rustic-looking green strap creates a counterpoint to the gold geometry of the case. The composition retains a Brazilian familiarity without relying on a literal landscape.
