CURATORIAL NOTE
A small flight interrupts the silence of the black dial.
The dove concentrates attention within a restrained area of the composition. The surrounding emptiness has a purpose: to let the figure breathe. The motion suggested by the wings enters into dialogue with the future movement of the hands.
The project begins with a repurposed bank card used as the support for the dial, carrying a screen-printed dove. An object associated with circulation and consumption comes to sustain an image of pause.
The process photograph records the dial inside the case, still without hands. The digital presentation explores the metallic reading of the dove and the gold ensemble. The intended finish is not presented here as a stage already completed.
