CURATORIAL NOTE
The soft colour of the dial and the rustic presence of the strap create a balance.
Without numerals, markers or a signature on the dial, this study directs attention towards three elements: the beige field, the gold hands and the green strap. The absence of graphic information leaves the proportions more exposed.
Candy beige acts as a pause. Around it, the brightness of the case and the proposed irregularities of the strap do not disappear; they become part of the composition.
The image is a combination study developed in the Atelier. The title is descriptive and does not constitute the launch of a new collection. The strap photographed separately documents the material research that informed the proposal.
